Seminar Location and Accommodations: Antler Inn, Jackson Wyoming. 8:30 AM - 9:50 AM Computer accident animations: Brian Barton, Brian Barton Investigations, Pensacola, Fl. Brian will explain the use of and demonstrate the creation of affordable Computer accident animations for use in both mediations and trials. This methodology also demonstrates the use of Google Earth for aerial views of accident scenes and incorporation of these scenes in the computer animations.
10:00 AM - 11:45 AM Knights of the Round Table: Experts and Case specific discussions. An open discussion of experts to use, to avoid and the new kids on the block; troubleshooting case specific issues. Case trends such as current mass tort claims. Discussion of product defects discovered by plaintiff's investigators around the country. The group will be led by Chuck Wooden, Spence Law Firm, Jackson, Wyoming.

1:00-1:50 PM. Knights of the Round Table: More on Experts: What to look for and what you need to consider when hiring an expert. Controlling the expert's expenditures, making sure your expert is prepared to testify. The discussion group will be led by Chuck Wooden.
2:00 PM - 2:50 PM Story boarding cases: Troy L. Fleming, Brown & Jennings, PLC, Salem, Va. Troy Fleming along with the group will develop a, "Story Board" of the best realistically possible interpretation of the facts and law that advocates the client's damages as the group prepares for trial. Troy will discuss case theories, order of witnesses, evidence/exhibits, good facts and bad facts...review and discuss and make a final draft of an out line for a "Story Board". Troy's efforts will be aimed toward coming away with an outline that will set the standard for in preparing Case Theory's and Story Board's for trial.
3:00 PM - 3:50 PM Exchanging investigation resource information, John Schatzman, Moderator, The Warshafsky Law Office . Each attendee should be prepared to share at least 5 resources that he or she regularly uses to conduct investigations or to render opinions. During the discussion John will take notes and compile those notes as a resource directory for our members.
When discussing their resources each contributor should share: A) the specific site (if website) name & address if non-web, B) the manner in which the resource(s) can be used, i.e. research or as evidence and C) whether the information is self authenticating (like NOAA weather data) or if it has been presented in court (Fed or State).

8:30 AM - 9:20 PM CSI Effect in dealing with witnesses and juries. Jack Murray, CLI, J. W. Murray, Jr. Investigation, Dallas, Texas. Jack Murray will discuss the new expectations of jury members for "CSI" "NCIC" instant analysis physical evidence and how it effects the presentation of both civil plaintiff's cases and criminal defense cases.
9:30 AM - 10:20 AM Documents available through public records: John Schatzman, an ICI member and a sitting elected councilman in his hometown will share some unique sources of locating records and evidence from local government sources that he has discovered since he became a "paper-pushing bureaucrat".
10:30 AM - 11:20 AM NFPA 921: Fire and explosions investigations. Jeff Warren, PhD, P.E. Dr. Warren will give a brief overview on the importance of NFPA 921 in Fire and Explosion investigations including the scientific approach that was designed for fire investigations as a result of the Daubert Decision.
